Summary

Mesopotamia, the area between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers (in modern day Iraq), is often referred to as the cradle of civilization because it is the first place where complex urban centers grew. This rapid ‘explosion’ of complexity does not fit with a gradual evolutionary explanation. Instead, special creation offers a description with greater explanatory power.  In addition, this presentation will show that archeological evidence is consistent with accounts found in scripture.
